Fly Agaric Mushroom 12g

Fly Agarics are Amanitas Muscaria - mushrooms containing the psychoactive chemicals ibotenic acid, muscimol, muscazone and muscarine. Muscimol is the most prominent and has a very strong hallucinogenic effect if ingested.

Fly Agaric/ Amanitas Muscaria have a long history of use in Asia and Northern Europe. They are best known for their distinctive appearance - bright red toadstools with white spots. They are often dipicted in fairy stories and elsewhere in popluar culture.

Shamans used Fly Agaric to gain spiritual insights. They would chew dried Fly Agaric for a long time to break down the substance and fully absorb it. They would also make tea from it and sometimes other users would drink the urine of the shaman to take in the Fly Agaric properties. Once taken, the hallucinogenic experience would last several hours.

The Vikings used Fly Agaric/ Amanita Muscaria to enter the "beserker" state for battle. The Icelandic name for Fly Agaric contains the word "beserk" in it:"Berserkja Sveppir" directly translated means "berserker mushrooms".

These Fly Agaric/ Amanita Muscaria specimens are cured at source. They are picked and taken to special drying chambers 170-200F. This process turns some ibotenic acid into muscimol which is believed to be most psychoactive.

Average Contents: 12.g. This amount would be sufficient for a moderate hallucinogenic experience for 1 person. 24 grams would induce a heavy hallucinogenic experience.
